gavin wildschutt-prins

Gavin Wildschutt-Prins is El Patrón— or at least we let him believe that. He insists he’s a media expert (and to be fair, with experience spanning television, radio, newspapers and magazines, he might actually be right). His CV is so long it needs its own scroll button — think Spanish telenovela on Netflix: dramatic, compelling, and packed with plot twists. When he’s not adding another chapter to his résumé, Gavin oversees the company, steers the ship, and keeps the team on their toes — all with a perfectly timed cappuccino in hand.

Luc Kazaba

Luc Kazaba likes to introduce himself as an “experienced advertising consultant,” but we suspect he’s actually serving a 13-year sentence in the glamorous world of inflight, airport and lifestyle magazines — and loving every minute of it. From insane ad deals to strategic branding, he’s mastered the art of making brands look très chic, all while being the ultimate team player. Oh, and did we mention he speaks French? Non? Give him a call and let him whisper merci beaucoup while closing your next deal.

Bongi Khanyile

Bongi Khanyile started selling advertising space in 1998 — back when she was bravely punting those toe-curling lineage ads that nobody *wanted* to book but absolutely *had* to. If you know, you know… and if you don’t, count yourself lucky.

From 2011 to 2018 she swapped insertion orders for activism, heading to the farms to “find her soul” (and possibly her patience), running workshops on rights and giving back like the overachiever she is — talk about a career plot twist.

Now she’s back in the ad game, bringing the calm, the consistency and the unshakeable steady hand… while Gavin cracks the whip and pretends he’s the boss.

zelma patience mashosho

Zelma was born on a cold winter’s day… okay relax, we’re not writing her biography for a documentary on Netflix. Let’s fast-forward to the good stuff: she kicked off her media career at Mafube Publishing as a Sales Coordinator, where her job was to process commissions — which basically meant staring at other people’s earnings until she decided, “You know what? I’d like a slice of that pie.” And just like that, a sales star was born.

Six years later at Media24, she casually smashed her target in her first month. No warm-up. No stretching. Just arrived and delivered. We’re not saying she intimidated the sales board… but we’re also not not saying that.

Then came her “sabbatical” — which in normal-people language means a well-earned break from meetings, ringing phones and humans in general. But like all true sales legends, she couldn’t stay away for long. Zelma is now back in the game at GP Media as a Sales Consultant, armed with big ideas, sharp instincts and a very healthy appreciation for commission statements.

asive mahlangu

Asive Mahlangu — the baby of the company. And before you start imagining nappies and nap time, don’t. This guy has so much charisma he could sell a lion its own tail and have it thanking him for the opportunity.

Asive swears by “doing the work when no one is watching” — which is corporate poetry for “I work after hours so no one bothers me.”

He believes consistency beats hype, execution beats excuses, and clear-thinking beats chaos. A big fan of teamwork (because strong teams always outperform solo superheroes), he still holds himself to standards so high they need Wi-Fi. Growth, impact and building work that lasts? That’s not just a tagline — that’s Asive on a Tuesday.

mandisa avutia

Mandisa Avutia is the Digital Manager at Gavin Prins Media, and if there’s content missing somewhere on the internet, chances are she’s already looking for it. With more than a decade spent building in the digital space — blogs, websites, and online businesses — she has mastered the art of turning “random assets” into polished brand stories. Around the office she’s known as the one asking, “Where are the images?”, “Who filmed this?”, and “Why is this not online yet?” — all in the noble pursuit of making sure everything lands exactly where it should: looking intentional, elevated, and unmistakably on-brand.

When she’s not chasing content or growing audiences online, Mandisa is also being expertly managed by her two extremely vocal bosses at home. She has written hundreds of pieces of content, built loyal digital communities, and believes the best ideas almost never happen alone — which is why collaboration is her favourite strategy (and occasionally her survival tactic). In short: if it lives online, Mandisa is probably already three steps ahead of it.

jacques terre'blanche

Once upon a time, Idols South Africa almost couldn't handle the vocal charm of Jacques Terre'Blanche, but plot twist he traded in his guitar for something far more dangerous: a camera and an eye for cinematic brillance.

These days, he's less about encores and more about angles, lighting, and making everything look like it belongs on the big screen.

Photographer? Yes. Videographer? Absolutely. Cameraman? Not exactly.

Jacques is a full-blown visual storyteller with flair for drama, detail and just the right amount of "main character energy."

Now serving as Multimedia Producer at Gavin Prins Media, Jacques is the guy turning everyday moments into Hollywood-worthy masterpieces (minus the red tape, plus better coffee).
